Achievement Program
Purpose: To encourage participation and elevate
public awareness of the achievement of a specified level of mastery
within the hunter and jumper disciplines and/or the achievements by
those who participate in the Foundation’s educational programs and
other educational programs recognized by the Foundation.
Qualification: Participation in the achievement
programs is open to all participants of the Foundation’s educational
and scholarship programs. Program participants must also meet any
other eligibility requirements that have been published in advance
on the Foundation’s web site or in the registration materials that
are distributed to prospective participants.
Methods of Recognition: The Foundation may provide
certificates of accomplishment, plaques, ribbons, trophies, medals,
awards, prizes, and other forms of recognition which are appropriate
for the level of achievement demonstrated by participants. The
specific methods of recognition will also be published in advance on
the Foundation’s web site or in the registration materials that are
distributed to prospective participants. Members of the Executive
Board, or any committee formed to administer the program, shall
recues themselves from decisions or votes involving recognition of
any individual where there is a family member or a close personal or
professional relationship involved. All decisions or votes will be
recorded and available for independent review to ensure that
improper private benefits are not being given.
